Frugal Lifestyle: Spend Less Waste Less

Silver Laced Wyandotte

Frugal and living a simple lifestyle has become a trend. Spend less and waste less is not a difficult habit to get used to. Once we are conditioned to doing so we become more relaxed and start to enjoy more of what we do have and what surrounds us.

It is a way that our great grandparents had to live. The great depression era taught them how to be wise shoppers by spending less and wasting less. Everything had a new use before it is was discarded.

Thrift stores are on the rise more so than ever before. Customers are not just antique dealers or re-sellers in the auction market, but people like myself who are looking for treasures. It is popular to recycle now. I like to say I am up-cycling. I like to spend less and constantly am creating new out of old. One of my Pinterest boards has one titled just that!

I enjoy living in the northeastern Georgia mountains. It is a relaxed simple lifestyle. We have added laying hens to our pet list. Having realized that all pets should be giving back to us in a way to enrich our new frugal lifestyle. We haven’t lived here very long. Moving from the city to the country was an adjustment, but one we quickly adjusted to.

Enjoy my selection choice that I recommend to simplify your life by spending less and wasting less!
