Earth Day falls on April 22 this year. A special year this year... it also falls on Good Friday! Don't celebrate just one day or through the week and weekend. Live it everyday!
1970 was the year the first Earth Day made headlines. From this date the Endangered Species Act, the Clean Air Act, the Safe Drinking Water Act and dozens more legislations were passed. What can we do? Just one thing can make a difference.
Join Arts for the Earth education program developed to teach sustainability and environmental education through museum and arts community networks. Take a walk, walk to work , to the store, around the block or take a 20-mile hike. Recycle, start composting, Spring clean the green way. If we all choose one thing to do, together we will make a difference.
Capturing the essence... Life is good in the country... wish you were here!
